My planned work can broadly be divided in three different categories, each representing a stage in earthquake algorithmic part of early warning:
- Anomaly detection within stream of data being sent by a sensor
- Using these anomalies from hundreds of such sensors to:
- Ascertain occurrence of such a hazardous earthquake.
- Estimate hypocenter of the event if above evaluates to true.
- Use data from sensors to estimate severity of the earthquake (Magnitude estimation)
